Traceability

Thanks to the national scheme of animal identification and tracing, NEWZERUM could be able to have the complete traceability for our products produced in New Zealand and Australia. According to the scheme, all cattle need to be tagged with an ear tag which identifies the farm origin. Individual details are documented when the cattle are transported and slaughtered, as well as when the blood is collected and packed. Prior to further processing, the containers of raw material pooled as one batch are recorded by the manufacturers’ system.

Based on the comprehensive chain of documentation described above, the serum and protein products of NEWZERUM made in New Zealand and Australia can be traced back to the slaughtered cattle and the farms they originated from.
